Start of Spring Cleaning – 2-1-09
really nothing much to say about
starting Spring Cleaning days ...
time to bring out the mop, cleansers and gloves
again clean everything, throw out old clothes, papers and junk
you know...get down in it days
so today...to start I'm up early
saying to my empty room
all the thing I wish I could say to you
only I know you won't hear...
my heart you were never listening and nowhere near
so I know my ramblings ... only my empty verbage
last day dreams...vestages of feelings for you
now, fodder for the garbage bag
in the am going over the ledge
lightening my load, making room for
new possibilities....
perhaps again school ...
perhaps a new location
who knows...even love again is in the cards
for this new season too....
...seems unbeknownst to me
I had been standing still....waiting...
but there is no more waiting in vain
without living lonely in pain
and I've given that up for lent
and that is that
besides ...
I have nothing to hold me to any past
only wide open to wonderful beginnings
an unknown future to content with
you now...
just a shred left in my pocket
a crumbled scrap of paper
on written
IF...
so yeah...ok today I'll force myself
to open that box again of stale memories
hear once more those cruel love songs
that unlock those feelings
all to consider you once again past heartache and tears
to remember how to me you were once very dear
to consider your face one more time
before clearing out and re-packing you away in my mind
yeah...again...today
it's Spring cleaning...theses things I might do
cause tomorrow is trash day
and all the possibilities of me and you
by the morning ....will be swept, mopped and thrown away

...time to get it out....go ahead ....enjoy the songs too
