The POETIC DISC – Capturing the intensity, energy and humor of Sekou's live and studio performances, with a few moments of un-intrusive sound design and music to refresh your ear, this disc is for those who love spoken word and want to hear it as close as possible to what they witnessed on stage.


The LICENSE DISC – Taking license with the poems, this side musically re-imagines pieces illuminating the many musical vehicles for spoken word. Through traditional song structures, unorthodox arrangements, and various musical genres, including hip-hop, r&b, soul, gospel, dancehall, electronica, pop, house and alternative, Sekou's poetic verses meld seamlessly with the music to bring an extra dimension to the vivid lexicon of his world. This disc is for the non believers who think they don’t like spoken word… until now!
